The State of Emergency cyanotype series is based on press photographs; Contrary to what this collection of exploded baggage might suggest, these are not images that testify to terrorist acts but to demining operations where they were destroyed by the police as objects. suspects as evidenced by the extracts of dispatches that accompany them. These texts testify to a regime of suspicion extended to objects in public space specific to the state of emergency by insisting on the potential danger of these paradoxically forgotten suitcases and bags while indicating the harmless and harmless elements (clothes, magazines , etc.)  that they contain when they are not empty. The accumulation of these images calls into question the violence of the authorities vis-à-vis these objects as well as the multiplication of false security alerts.
